During each semester, students will be working towards the completion of a major project that will assess their problem-solving abilities and their knowledge regarding applied physics and engineering in the specific areas covered in the quarter.
These projects are the key focus of the program and will allow students an in-depth exploration of the application of the physical principles governing the mechanics of each project. These are competitive projects that have very specific performance metrics, highlighting the problem-solving requirement.
These competitions will mimic the long tradition of engineering competitions that are held in prestigious academic institutions and professional competitions.

In the physics courses, students perform hands-on labs to model physical phenomena and derive conclusions and physical laws.
